Drug Wars Termsand Conditions
OPEN TO PERSONS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ONLY
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW
- Name: “Drug Wars” (the “Competition”)
- Description of the Competition: The Competition will consist of two stages: Stage 1: Drug Wars Propaganda (“Propaganda”) and Stage 2: The Drug Wars Tournament (“the Tournament”) All entrants must compete in the Propaganda stage to qualify for selection into the Tournament.
There is a “Prize Pool” consisting of the Grand Prize, a Runner-up Prize, and Tournament Bounties. Only players accepted into the Tournament will be eligible to claim prizes.

2.a) Stage 1: Drug Wars Propaganda
Before the Drug Wars Tournament officially begins, teams will vie for 64 available spots. Spots will be awarded at the sole discretion of a panel of Drug Receipts staff and key stakeholders (the “Drug Overlords”). Players are encouraged to take advantage of the Propaganda stage to draw attention to their submissions by creating clever marketing materials (propaganda!) and promoting their teams on Twitter AND Discord. The objective during the Propaganda stage is to use promotion to increase your chances of being selected for the Tournament. Use creativity and community engagement to get your team noticed and to make an impression on the Drug Overlords.
2.b) Stage 2: Drug Wars Tournament
The Tournament consists of 64 teams, selected at the sole discretion of the Drug Overlords, competing in a head-to-head, bracket style competition. Teams will be randomly paired in head-to-head battles that will take place online in the Drug Wars Battle Arena (some teams may be rearranged at the discretion of the Drug Overlords to avoid conflicts, such as a player (with multiple entries) being matched up against herself/himself). All votes will be validated through a token-gated process in the Battle Arena. The team receiving the most votes in any given head-to-head matchup will advance to the next round. Winning teams advance through the brackets, competing in head-to-head matchups until only one team remains and is declared the “War Lord.”
2.c) The Battle Arena & Voting All battles take place online in the official Drug Wars Battle Arena (the “Battle Arena”). All outcomes in the Battle Arena are determined via fan votes.
Each heads-up battle is awarded to the team that receives the most votes in the Battle Arena in the allotted time for their matchup. Players are encouraged to promote their team and drive traffic to the Battle Arena during their active battles.
Anyone holding a token from any project within the Non-Fungible Labs ecosystem, or from select projects beyond the ecosystem (check the official Drug Wars websites to see a complete list) is eligible to vote.
Votes in the Battle Arena are verified via a simple token validation protocol (no gas fees are charged for this). The letter of the law is one vote per wallet (per matchup). The spirit of the competition is one vote per person (per matchup).
In the event that foul play is suspected, or anyone is deemed to be operating outside of the “spirit of the competition,” the Drug Overlords reserve the right to investigate and change the results, if necessary.
Any player found to be cheating or “gaming the system” will be immediately disqualified and have all of their teams removed from the Tournament, and will not be eligible to claim any prizes.
Ties in the Battle Arena during the first round will be settled via votes in the Drug Receipts Discord server. The team receiving the most votes in the official heads-up match up posted in Discord will advance. In the event that the Discord match-up also ends in a tie, the decision will go to a virtual coin flip via a random generator.

4. How to enter: During the Propaganda stage every player must complete the following tasks—for each team—to be considered for entry into the Drug Wars Tournament:
- Hold at least 4 Drug Receipts NFTs in the same wallet.
- Use the official Drug Wars Battlecard Set Builder to create and submit your team battlecard (teams built with the Demo Set Builder are not eligible to compete). Complete the official entry form for EVERY team that you submit. You may submit as many entries as you like for consideration, however the maximum number of teams from any player that will be accepted into the Tournament is 4. So, make your entries count!
- Post at least one Twitter post promoting your team and include the following hashtag: #DRxDrugWars.
- Follow the Drug Receipts official Twitter page (@drugreceipts).
- Join the Drug Receipts Discord server (discord.gg/drugreceipts).
- Post a link to your Twitter post on the official Drug Wars channel in the Drug Receipts Discord server. Competitors entering multiple teams must post at least one Twitter post promoting each team AND post each team Tweet link separately on the Drug Wars Discord channel.
5. Rewards: The “Prize Pool” consists of a “Grand Prize” for the player that wins the final matchup of the bracketed Tournament, and a “Runner-up Prize” for the player that loses the final matchup. Various other prizes will also be awarded via “Bosses” and “Bounties” throughout the Tournament.
Players employed by Drug Receipts are eligible to enter the Competition but are not eligible to win the Grand Prize or the Runner-up Prize. Drug Receipts employees are eligible to collect rewards from Bosses and Bounties, and may earn “Ceremonial” rewards like titles, Discord roles and digital trophies. In the event that a Drug Receipts employee wins the Grand Prize or the Runner-up Prize, they may keep any Ceremonial awards earned, but the remaining prizes will be awarded to the highest placing non-employee.
Ties in the Battle Arena will be settled via votes in the Drug Receipts Discord server. The team receiving the most votes in the official heads-up match up posted in Discord will advance. In the event that the Discord match-up also ends in a tie, the decision will go to a virtual coinflip via a random generator.
